Hello world!

Hello! My name is Jonathan Lee. I live in Kansas City, Missouri with my wife of 26 years. Together, we have 6 children, 3 girls and 3 boys, ranging from 7 years to 22 years old. That’s one in elementary, one in junior high, two in high school, and 2 in college. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, but Kansas City has been home since 2009. I completed a Master of Divinity (MDIV) from Fuller Theological Seminary and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Southern California (USC).

Life has always straddled ministry and business. I’ve been a youth minister, a church planter, and I am currently the chaplain of a K-12 Christian private school called the Daniel Academy. I’ve worked for Skechers USA, Sprint Corporation, and a handful of lesser known tech companies. I’ve loved my time in the workplace, at church, at school, and at home raising my kids.

About 18 months ago, I started to feel the ‘winds of change’, that feeling that God is up to something and transition is in the air. I’ve always had a passion and desire to write and publish content. I began to assemble 4 different content projects, mostly geared towards (but not limited to) my Generation X cohort of 45-60 year olds. Books can be important anchors for content, but my dream is to publish podcasts, produce videos, and host conferences. In November of 2023, Father’s House Publishing Company was formed and given the IRS non-profit 501c3 status as a vehicle to accomplish these and other content projects.
